As we moving into Week 5 of the UKEL, we’ve passed the half way mark in the regular season. After a rough start, going 0W-2L in Weeks 1-2, Viperio managed to secure 2 victories against Lucendi & Mythos, we sit in 4th-5th with a 2W-2L record.

We spoke with Alan Reid, League of Legends Manager at Viperio, to get his take on the teams performance, and his views going into the final 3 matches of regular season.

How do you feel Viperio League of Legends are performing in the UKEL so far?
We’re on an upswing and we’re getting matches versus pretty solid teams than before. We’ve got a match versus a main Ultraliga team which is basically the same as NLC so I expect to get hammered but it’ll expose the team for tomorrow practise which will be the most useful time for them to get better.

Going into our next match against LDN UTD, how confident are you that the team will secure their 3rd win of the season?
I’m feeling really good about the team at the moment, and I’m pretty confident that we will take a victory against LDN UTD. After our bounce back from 0-2, I’m expecting 5-2 with no resistance at all.

Are playoffs on the table? What is the realistic goal for the team this split?
I think UKEL Playoffs are definitely on the table, and I hope UKLC Promotions are too. We have to win all the games from this point on but we’re fairly sure the play methodology that Resolve uses can be beaten, but it’ll mean we have to be very smart at the game. We have enough time to practice in order to beat them.
