In an era of esports where avoidance of burnout is of growing importance, Viperio player 🇬🇧 Connor ‘Boony’ Boon has decided to take a competitive break from SFV.
Citing recent performances and external pressures such as University work as the reason behind the decision, Connor will not be competing in any SFV tournaments in the near future.
gonna stream some random games for a while, uni is stressful enough as it is, I'm okay it's just I think I want to be better than what I am. I hit UD in December 2019, I've been playing on and off since then and genuinely don't think I understand the game well enough to compete

Connor is still very keen to stay active, and wishes to continuously interact with his community. Connor plans on streaming to his personal Twitch channel, however focus will be other titles, and not SFV.
Christopher Sword, Managing Director at Viperio commented:
“Boony is a great asset to Viperio and we will do everything we can to continue to support him through his esports career.”
“Hopefully a break will allow Connor to relax and reset, so that he can return to SFV in his own time when ready”
We will continue to keep you updated with any changes that may arise from this event.
