Attracting high calibre talent is a key priority for Viperio. We aim to establish a culture and operating environment that helps people test their abilities, learn on the job whilst simultaneously having fun and meeting new people.

Today, we are happy to announce that 🇸🇬 Calvin “Hevinix” So will be joining our organisation as an Assistant Coach. Calvin was formerly Mid-Laner of Team Impunity, one of the largest professional esports clubs in South East Asia. At his peak, Calvin and his team competed in the Singapore Legends Series Summer 2017, where he placed second. More recently, he has been Head Coach of UKEL side Mythos.

We asked Calvin about his decision to join Viperio:

“I genuinely appreciate Viperio’s organisational stability and professionalism. More importantly, I’m confident that the successful integration of coaching and managerial effort would only serve to effectively produce strong competitive development and growth for players part of the Viperio family.”

Calvin joins our current backend squad of Alan Reid, Harry Sandford, Dan Holt, James Woodland & Adam Harney, as Viperio look to establish themselves as a top contender once again, for the upcoming UKEL Summer Split.

Christopher Sword commented:

“Calvin has competed at one of the highest levels of League of Legends. Bringing in talent with past playing experience is beneficial as they understand the struggles players experience, both mechanically and mentally. I look forward to working with Calvin over the next few months.”
