Viperio are delighted to confirm that Curly and Erkkari have extended their contracts to compete for Viperio 86 across 2022.

Following a successful run in the latter half of 2021, Rainbow Six players 🇮🇪 Oisin ‘Curly‘ Carroll & 🇫🇮 Iikka ‘Errkari‘ Anttila have both extended their contracts to compete as starting players with Viperio 86 in 2022.

Curly first joined following the initial announcement of the Viperio 86 project back in June 2021. Curly played a pivotal role helping Viperio 86 secure 2nd in their debut UKI Nationals Premier Division Regular Season, and 3rd overall this past season. This result was what earned Curly and his team mates a spot in the European Challenger League 2021.

Curly made the following statement after signing his extension:

“I’m really looking forward to competing in 2022 with the team. I’m determined to work my hardest to improve individually as I look to help boost the team. We’re going to give 2022 our all and try our best to win all competitions coming up.”

Erkkari was mean to join ahead of the same UKIN Premier 2021 season, however was still contracted under Vexed Gaming at the time. He eventually joined the Viperio 86 team for the European Challenger League 2021, bringing experience competing at Tier 2 to the line-up ahead of the winter event.

Both Curly and Erkkari have proven themselves capable of competing at an international level, which is exactly what Viperio 86 need to push for a European Challenger League spot once again.

Christopher Sword, Founder & Managing Director of Viperio commented:

“As an owner, I’m always keen to retain players when possible and make sure they can continue their journey with us for as long as they need.”

“Curly and Erkkari have contributed massively to the success of Viperio 86, and the Viperio organisation as of recent. I’m ecstatic they’ll be representing us once again in 2022.”

Curly and Erkkari’s next tournament will be the UKI Nationals Rainbow Rumble, which will see them compete for a share of £25,000.00 GBP. The remaining members of the team will be confirmed soon ahead of their first game day.
