Following an impressive showing in the European Challenger League Qualifier #2, Viperio’s new Rainbow Six Siege team, Viperio 86, have caught the eyes of many within the community, impressing figures such as UK&I caster Eoin ‘Dean0‘ Deane.

After Viperio 86’s defeat to Replay Totum in the 3rd/4th place match of the qualifier, Dean0 commented on how the upcoming UKI Nationals Premier season will allow the squad to practice against some of the best squads in Europe, suggesting the Viperio 86 can finish in the top half of the table.

“With the new season of UKIN just around the corner, thats going to be an exciting one for sure. EU talent, CL talent in spades there already, and if Team 86 are able to keep building and stay as strong as they are, they’ll definitely be right up there with the big boys at the end of the season.”

In the upcoming season of the UKI Nationals Premier Division, Viperio 86’s opponents will include top international teams, such as R6 European League sides Natus Vincere & Cowana Gaming, and European Challenger League side MnM Gaming. Having official matches against these teams will help Viperio 86 get much needed experience to help them emerge as one of the better tier 2/3 teams on the continent.

Dean0 went on to express a desire to see Viperio 86 in challenger league following their impressive run this qualifier, suggesting that all the teams who finished top four (1st Mkers, 2nd Acend, 3rd Replay Totum, 4th Viperio 86) have what it takes to compete in the tier two league.

“I do think that all four teams here deserve to be in CL… but definitely Team 86, Acend and Totum… I would like to see all of them make it through to CL.”
