Viperio confirm that Joakim “Kackis” Bergström has stepped down as Head Coach of Viperio’s League of Legends division due to personal commitments. Assistant Coach Sean “Aqsept” Persson will move into the Head Coach role for the remainder of the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC) Spring split.

While Sean has already taken over Joakim’s responsibilities, Joakim will continue to operate in the background on a reduced basis, helping the team on and off the rift. Joakim commented following the change:

“I’m confident Aqsect can do the job and he can always come to me for help if needs be”

Sean also provided commentary following his appointment as Head Coach:

“I am excited to take over as head coach. While I wish Kackis could have spent more time working with us, I have full confidence in myself and in this roster to deliver results.”

Looking to continue the hard work and success seen in pre-season with the roster and Kackis, Sean is confident in the roster and has what it takes to find success this Spring split.
