Viperio are delighted to announce 🇬🇧 Liam “M1n1maL” Reynolds as our latest signing and first player to join Viperio Academy, our newest Counter-Strike roster.
Viperio, the North East of England’s leading esports club since 2013, is thrilled to announce the launch of Viperio Academy, a second Counter-Strike roster for young talent beginning their careers within the esports ecosystem. This second Counter-Strike roster will provide emerging players with the opportunity to work with Viperio first team players and coaches, in the hopes to progress into our main roster or onward to another professional team.
As we launch Viperio Academy, we are proud to introduce our first academy signing, 🇬🇧 Liam “M1n1maL” Reynolds. The 16 year old started his competitive Counter-Strike journey in 2021 at the age of 13 and by late 2023, Liam had hit 3k ELO in CS2. Liam most recently played for K10 FWRD, the academy team of UK organisation K10, and has also competed offline at previous EPIC.LANs.
When asked about Joining Viperio Academy, Liam commented:
”"Finding out I was the first member of the Viperio Academy was really exciting. Leaving K10 was a big decision, but I felt it was the right time. Seeing Papp reach out to me after my LFT post was an awesome feeling. I'm looking forward to growing as a player and seeing where this opportunity takes me."

Viperio is actively looking for the remaining pieces of our Counter-Strike Academy roster, and aims to have a full starting five before the end of September.
Viperio Founder, Christopher Sword, said:
”"We've seen great success with player transfers to multiple organisations. As this demand for our players increases, we want a steady pipeline of talent ready to progress into our main roster. With the opportunity to sign Liam, a rising start in UK Counter-Strike, now felt like the best time to launch Viperio Academy."
