Newcastle, 18th April 2023 – Viperio, the North East of England’s leading esports club, announce today that Marco “MMS” Salomone, a key figure on our Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) team, is stepping down from the team after a mutual decision.
Over the past few seasons, Marco “MMS” Salomone has been an integral part of Viperio’s CS:GO team, contributing to their success in various high-profile tournaments. He has been an asset to the team, demonstrating his exceptional skills and professionalism throughout his tenure.
Marco “MMS” Salomone has been a valuable member of Viperio’s CS:GO team over the last 6 months. He played a pivotal role in our debut season of the ESL Premiership, where the team finished 2nd only to Team Endpoint in the final, as well as numerous Champion of Champions Tour events. MMS‘ highlight tournament with the team was our recent run in the BLAST Major EU RMR in Copenhagen, Viperio’s debut at a tier one Counter-Strike event.
