Despite a 5W-3L record, Viperio have met expectations as a top contending team, with highlight victories versus TENSTAR and Natus Vincere. There have been some key moments for Viperio 86 which have stood out in the first half of the season. Firstly, losing to Victus puts the team on the back foot in the race for a spot in the 2022 season of the European Challenger League. With Victus being considered a contending teams for one of two qualification spots, their early victory over Viperio increases their chances of qualifying straight for the NPL Finals stage. Secondly, one of Viperio 86’s highlights was defeating EUL side Natus Vincere 7-5 in Week Two. Unfortunately, due to internal circumstances Natus Vincere will no longer compete for the remainder of the Northern Premier League.
