Viperio are happy to announce the 2022 Viperio 86 Rainbow Six Siege line-up, which will be competing in the inaugural season of the Ubisoft Northern Premier League.
Viperio 86 are returning with a star-studded line-up for the 2022 season. Captained once again by long time IGL and fan favourite Oisin โCurlyโ Carroll, the new Viperio 86 roster brings together big names and rising stars to create a roster that will definitely turn heads.
The 2022 Viperio 86 starting line-up is as follows:
๐ฎ๐ชย Oisin โCurlyโ Carroll
๐ฌ๐ง Reece ‘ASTRO‘ Lambert
๐ธ๐ช Aleks ‘VITO‘ Lyapun
๐ต๐ฑ Adam ‘nudl‘ Hryceniak
๐ต๐ฑ Dawid ‘Gruby‘ Marciniak
One of the biggest names on that list is Swedish player Aleks ‘VITO‘ Lyapun. VITO has competed at the highest levels of R6S competition, representing Chaos Esports Club in multiple seasons of the EU Pro League, and at notable international LAN events such as Allied Esports Vegas Minor 2019 and DreamHack Valencia 2019. In addition to VITO, Viperio 86 adds one of the UK’s strongest players Reece ‘ASTRO‘ Lambert, who most recently played for Gamma Gaming. ASTRO is a UK talent known across the Tier 2 levels of competition, having dominated in the Benelux regional scene and competed in back to back European Challenger League seasons (20/21).
Viperio 86 also adds to players who will be playing their rookie regional league seasons in the NPL: polish duo Adam ‘nudl‘ Hryceniak & Dawid ‘Gruby‘ Marciniak. Gruby made his debut for Viperio in the back end of 2021, playing as a stand-in for the Six Invitational EU Open Qualifiers, where the team came 2nd falling to Team Secret in the finals. Nudl returns following a successful run with the 86 squad in the UKI Nationals Rainbow Rumble earlier this year.
In addition to the starting five, ๐ฌ๐ง Shuaib ‘Aktr‘ Akhter will be joining as our 6th player and ๐ซ๐ท Joseph ‘Px7‘ Bouton returns as lead analyst.
Viperio Founder Christopher Sword commented on the new line-up:
“Going from winning UKIN 2 to top six in EUCL in a matter of months, Viperio 86 cemented itself as the upcoming team from the UK in 2021. With the new season and a fresh league, we hope this roster represents our intent to build on our successes and continue to be the next UKI team to make it to the top of R6S esports.”
The new Viperio 86 roster will play their first official matches in the NPL later this month. Full competitive schedule is yet to be confirmed, however by following @viperioesports on Twitter, you can ensure you’re notified of all fixtures once available.
