Christopher Sword

From North Shields, Christopher Sword founded Viperio in 2013 at the young age of 13. Christopher specialises in strategy & operations, leading Viperio through the esports landscape.

Christopher is currently an undergraduate student at Durham University, studying Business & Management. He also has over a years work experience at multinational technology firm Hewlett Packard Enterprise in an operations role.

Outside of esports, Christopher is a former World Champion martial artist & a 3rd Dan Black Belt, with 8x WTKA World Titles in Kickboxing & Karate between 2012-14. He currently plays baseball for Durham University & Newcastle Nighhawks.

Head of Brand

Gareth Sission-Rowe

Gareth Joined Viperio in 2020 as Head of Brand, Gareth has multiple years’ experience in Esports management – following his 5 year tenure as a player, coach and manager for London Lynx, helping to direct the brand to multiple top 5 placements in CS:GO.

Gareth also has several years’ experience working in the creative industry as both a designer and as a brand strategist, having helped to deliver brand experiences’ for Sportsbet, Redbull and Dulux.

Gareth helped to reimagine the Viperio Identity & brand messaging in 2020 to better define our align with the brand objectives for the coming decade.

Outside of Esports, Gareth is family orientated but enjoys spending time reading (currently attempting to read the entire work of Alfred Alder.) as well as binging just about everything on every streaming service.

Head of Analytics

Matt Foggon

Matt Foggon joined Viperio in 2020 as part of our new strategy for the new decade. Matt plays a pivotal role as our senior business intelligence analyst, helping us capitalise on opportunities though data collection.

Matt studied a BA in Computer Science at Northumbria University, and has formerly worked as a Software Engineer for global firms including DXC Technology & British Engines.

Matt is also an avid Twitch streamer, playing FPS games such as Call of Duty: Warzone.

Head of Media & E-Commerce

Conor Rabbett

Conor Rabbett first joined Viperio in 2018 as a Videographer before moving into role as Head of Media. Conor recently took on additional responsibilities, taking ownership of our web & e-commerce operations.

Conor has over 10 years of media related experience working with large scale clients such as BBC, Discover Northern Ireland, Adam B, GFuel Energy and many more. He is currently studying at Northwest Regional College for Creative Media Production.

In his spare time, Conor enjoys to make pizza alongside spend time with his girlfriend (She may or may not have made this section be added in.)

Head of Esports

Luke McCabe

Glasgow born Luke McCabe joined Viperio in January 2020 as the Head of Esports. Luke maintains our esports operations ensuring our business can achieve its goal of being at the top of UK Esports. Before Viperio, Luke competed for many years in Gears of War, followed by a brief spell coaching Call of Duty teams.

Luke is studying Software Development at City of Glasgow College. Luke enjoys using his free time casually gaming with friends and spending time with his girlfriend.

Head of Sales

Brodie Mulvaney

Brodie Mulvaney joined Viperio in 2016 as a Counterstrike: Global Offensive player, representing Viperio at 2 offline events (LAN Ops & Insomnia 58). He then transitioned into a business development role after retiring as a player before moving into his current role of Head of Sales.

Brodie has over 3 years experience in virtual sales, formerly working for BT. He is currently studying for a LLB at Keele University.

In his spare time, Brodie plays university lacrosse and loves to cook.

Community Manager

Aaron Gordon

Aaron Gordon joined Viperio in May of 2019 under the UK&I Rainbow 6 Siege Team after competing at Insomnia 64's GAME R6S Console Open Tournaments and winning multiple days in a row.

Aaron has years of gaming experience where he has since moved to Viperio's Community Manager where he looks after some public relations and working to keep community engagement up.

Aaron is currently studying an Esports degree at Staffordshire University where in his free time he spends time by Building PC's and taking photos.
