Moving into 2023, the Rainbow Six Siege division of Viperio will undergo a complete rebuild. In line with our rosters in other esports titles, Viperio 86 will begin to compete under the name Viperio in future competitions.

After a knockout in the group stages of the European Challenger League 2022, Viperio began to begin discussions with our Rainbow Six Siege players and staff around their intentions for the 2023 competitive season.

For the majority of players and staff, most highlighted a preference to explore opportunities on other rosters or outside of esports. This includes long standing players and staff such as Curly and Layton, as well as Team Manager Jase. The three mentioned individuals originally joined Viperio following our acquisition of the Team 86 roster ahead of UKI Nationals Summer 2021.

Viperio would like to express their gratitude to those players and staff who have represented us in 2022:

🇮🇪 Oisin ‘Curly‘ Carroll
🇫🇮 Iikka “Erkkari” Anttila
🇬🇧 Layton “Layton” Goldring
🇬🇧 Connor “Monkey” Barnes
🇨🇿 David “Mengo” Broukal

2023 & Northern Premier League

With none of the original Team 86 players and staff remaining part of our project, from January 2023 Viperio 86 will  be renamed and compete under the team name Viperio, in-line with our competitive rosters in other titles.

As a current licence holder of a spot in Ubisoft UK’s Northern Premier League (NPL), Viperio remain committed to fielding a roster in Rainbow Six esports. Viperio aims to take advantage of the next global transfer window (December 10th to January 5th) to pre-register up to 7 players (and a coach) that will be officially registered as part of the team after the Six Invitational 2023, during the 2023 off-season Transfer Window.

While senior leadership within Viperio have already begun reaching out to key individuals of interest, Viperio invite interested players, coaches and staff to express their interest in our project by reaching out via email: contact@viperio.com

Having seen players Neonical, Gruby and ASTRO transferred to Tier 1 European League rosters, Viperio is committed to remaining a platform for talent to develop on their journey to the top. Viperio look forward to continuing their legacy in competitive Rainbow Six Siege and hope to further cement our project as one of Europe’s finest homes for upcoming UKI & Nordic players.
