Despite the League of Legends spring season for Viperio only ending last Saturday, we have seen record levels of interest for player tryouts across the last five days. Finishing 2nd in the UKEL regular season, 3rd in playoffs and placing 3rd in the UKLC relegation event, Viperio have showcased itself as a top contender within the UKEL once again, making it an attractive brand for talent hunting for a home for the summer split.
Unlike past seasons, it seems many organisations are acting quickly to snap up talent at the start of the offseason rather than near the end. Viperio was one of the first organisations to announce their UK line-up ahead of the spring season, and looks to do the same ahead of summer.
Christopher Sword gave the following insight:
“With the current short term nature of many rosters at the UKI levels of competition, it is beneficial for organisation to establish a roster early to allow for team development and practice ahead of the split, rather than create a team a couple of weeks before with a limited talent pool.”
Viperio are actively seeking to build a talent pipeline for tryouts. The organisation is interested to hear from players of all roles and nationalities, however preference will be given for UKI residents. For more information as to how to apply, see our original post.
