After game days 1-3 of the Rainbow Six Siege Northern premier League (NPL), Viperio 86 sit in 6th place with a 2W-1L record, beating Coalesce and TENSTAR, but falling to Victus. We spoke to Viperio Founder & Managing Director Christopher Sword to understand his thoughts following the first three fixtures of the NPL season.

“Two wins and a loss is definitely a respectable start for us, especially considering this season of NPL is being talked about as one of the strongest and most competitive regional leagues to date.”

“I know that the team will take time to pause and recover ahead of facing the big boys of NAVI. Hopefully, we can give them a good test and truly see where we currently are as a team. While facing NAVI will be a challenge, I’m hoping the fact most will regard us as the underdogs will mean less pressure on the boys.”

“This season will take a lot of hard work and Jase has made sure to pick players which understand that. Although most agree we’re a contending team for one of the two CL spots, we will have to work hard for every win. We’re not at full potential yet but I’m confident the Viperio 86 squad will continue to move from strength to strength.”

Viperio 86’s next fixture is against Natus Vincere at 11pm (BST) on Wednesday 27th April. Both 2W-1L, Viperio 86 and NAVI alike will be looking for a win to remain in the top 4 after week two.
