Newcastle, 18th April 2023 – Viperio, the North East of England’s leading esports club, has today announced that Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen will be stepping down from the organization’s CS:GO team with immediate effect. The decision was made following mutual discussions between Gizmy and the Viperio team.
Gizmy had been an integral part of the Viperio CS:GO team for the past 6 months, contributing significantly to the team’s performance in prestigious tournaments such as the ESL Premiership, Champion of Champions Tour, and the BLAST Major EU RMR.
In a statement, Gizmy expressed:
”The wealth of experience from playing with the boys has been invaluable and I wish them good luck with the new roster.

Chris Sword, Founder & Managing Director of Viperio also stated: “I would like to thank Jack for his contributions over the last 6 months. Jack’s departure follows MMS’ departure from Viperio. Viperio will announce replacements for both Jack and Marco in due course.
