Viperio is one of only two UK teams to qualify out the 758+ teams that entered the BLAST Paris Major 2023 Europe RMR Open Qualifier. The roster finished 3rd-4th after taking down notable teams such as Boomer Demons, Forward Gaming, and Tricked Esport.

Viperio breezed through the Open Qualifier while using Rory ‘cryths’ Ursell as a stand in for James ‘Bevve’ Slinn, who was unable to play the Open Qualifier due to personal circumstances.  Regardless, Viperio took down teams that were riddled with ex-major attendees, major-winners, and legends of the game, such as:

Patrick ‘f0rest’ Lindberg, Olof ‘olofmeister’ Kajbjer, Adam ‘friberg’ Friberg, ‘Christopher ‘Get_RiGhT’ Alesund, Jonas ‘Lekro0’ Olofsson, and Rustem ‘mou’ Telepov.

Later today, Viperio will begin their Closed Qualifier journey in hopes of securing a place in the BLAST Paris Major 2023 Europe RMR. The European RMR is an offline event in Copenhagen that gives teams the chance to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, which boasts an impressive $1,250,000 prize pool and is widely considered to be one of the largest, more prestigious events of the competitive calendar.

Today’s Closed Qualifier comprises of 8 teams that were invited from Valve’s Regional Standings, and 8 teams that made it through the Open Qualifier. The teams that Viperio will be battling against for a spot in the European RMR are:
