Good news for fans of Biscu’s Black and Red Army, as Viperio CS:GO qualify for the ESL Premiership Autumn 2023 Offline LAN Finals in Birmingham, following a 2-0 victory versus Team Endpoint in the final of the first Closed Qualifier.

Eight teams battled it out in the first of two closed qualifiers. The invited eight consisted of the top sides from the previous season of the ESL Premiership Spring 2023, where Viperio finished 3rd-4th after being defeated by season champions Into the Breach.

Viperio’s run began with a swift 2-0 victory versus Next In Line (formerly known as Made In Kettering), which saw our side move into the upper bracket semi-finals to take on Verdant (formerly Dripmen), where the Viperio side took another clean 2-0 victory.

In the upper-bracket final, Viperio were knocked down into the lower bracket by HLTV’s number one UK side, Team Endpoint. Endpoint took the series 2-0. Viperio were able to secure a spot in the qualifiers grand final after a 2-0 victory against Team 7am, a side who made an impressive lower bracket run despite lowing their first series of the event.

Its was a rematch between Viperio & Endpoint to decide which side would take the first of eight spots at the ESL Premiership Autumn 2023 Offline Finals in Birmingham this September.

In-game leader Thomas “arTisT” Clarke expressed his joy in qualifying for the offline competition:

"What a nail biting series today against Endpoint. It feels great to be back on track after a disappointing few months. Our new team members Ducky and Wolfie have most certainly proven themselves after todays performance. Hoping for a bright future ahead."

Also thrilled with the team’s performance, Coach Ciaran “biscu” King also commented:

"The players earned a hard fought victory over Endpoint which in my opinion is deserved and long overdue. Our new boys Wolfie and Ducky have acquitted themselves with professionalism and desire since joining our ranks, and the team feels reinvigorated to build on this result and push for more."
