Monday 9th July (Week 1:1) – Viperio vs Unknown
Our first match-up of the league was against Unknown, an orgless Danish line-up ranked 8th in the country. The best of one series was played on de_nuke. The danish opponent proved themselves as a top team, finishing the first half 12-3 in their favour. After winning Round 2 of the 2nd half of the match, a chance at a comback seemed possible for our Swedish line-up, however, this was short lasted after Unknown won the following 3 rounds, resulting in a 4-16 result for Viperio.

We spoke to Elias ‘Pawn‘ Alm, member of Viperio CSGO after the match:

“We didnt expect to win against doktizh & his squad. They are a much more experienced, and polished line-up compared to us. We tried our best, and the experienced allowed us to identify some issues which we can improve on before important matches later in the tournament.” – Elias Alm.

Thursday 13th July (Week 1:2) – Viperio vs Enraged
After a defeat earlier in the week, the Viperio CSGO roster had been practicing daily in preparation to their 2nd fixture of the week. The roster were hoping to obtain a win in order to keep chances of qualifying for playoffs as high as possible. In a turn of events, the enraged line-up forfeited the match, resulting in us winning the game by default.

Viperio finished Week One with a 1W/1L record. Our matchups for Week Two are as follows:

Monday 16th July (Week 2:1) – Viperio vs Represent Gaming @ 9pm (CET)
Thursday 19th July (Week 2:2) – Viperio vs gucciTT @ 9pm (CET)
