Monday, 29th April 2024 – Viperio move Jan “pandi7o” Holák to the bench by mutual agreement, effective immediately.

Viperio signed the (at the time) 18-year-old Jan “pandi7o” Holák on the 19th December 2023 to complete Viperio’s Counter strike roster for 2024. Having previously played for mYinsanity, and briefly Entropiq, Jan joined Viperio with the hopes of improving his international experience. With some mixed results, Jan’s best performance while representing Viperio was against Rebels in the ESL Pro League Season 19 NC Europe Qualifier, boasting an impressive 1.81 HLTV rating.

Viperio Team Coach Daniel “papp” Hart commented Jan moving to the bench:

“Jan has had a very good 5-month period with us; a player I believe that still has great potential. However, as we continued to assess our options and goals for 2024, it quickly became clear that Jan would unfortunately not be a part of our long-term plans. I would like to thank Jan for his efforts during his stay with us and wish him the best in what he decides to do in the future.”

Daniel also commented on finding Jan’s replacement:

“We will now continue to test alternative options for his permanent replacement, whilst we already have some names, we remain very much open to interest, ideally looking for players with good HLTV experience to fill star rifle positions. If you are interested, reach out to me directly on Twitter (X.com/papp_cs).”

With the recent signings of Markus “upE” Johansson and Dimitar “Skrimo” Yanulov, the Viperio Counter is still in a period of change and development, bringing in young talent in hopes of continuing previous Tier 2 European success.

The current Viperio remains as follows:

🇧🇬 Dimitar “Skrimo” Yanulov
🇸🇪 Markus “upE” Johansson
🇩🇰 Rasmus “zodi” Frølich
🇩🇰 Kim “mAnGo” Larsen

🇬🇧 Daniel “papp” Hart
